samsung galaxy s21 fe: Samsung Galaxy S21 FE may come with Exynos processor: Report – Times of India

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone later this year. According to a report by Korea’s Maeil Business, the smartphone’s release plans are being reconsidered due to global chip storage. It was earlier planned to launch in August 2021. But the launch is now expected to be pushed to the fourth quarter of this year.
In addition, Samsung is also planning to use its own component to overcome the chip shortage. As per the report, the Fan Edition of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE may come powered by a MediaTek processor. It was previously tipped to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. To recall, its predecessor Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is also powered by Qualcomm processor- Qualcomm Snapdragon 865.
“It is known that Samsung Electronics is strongly considering a plan to replace the shortfall in Qualcomm Mobile AP with Samsung Exynos AP and release it in the global market. Exynos AP is a mobile AP developed and designed by Samsung Electronics’ System LSI Division” reads a English translated version of the report.
It further adds that the South Korean manufacturer is also planning to limit the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE model to a few markets such as the US and Europe. It may also limit the supply quantities of the phone.
