Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22+ tipped to sport 10MP selfie cameras – Times of India

Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup is expected to be launched in February next year. Although the company has not revealed any official information about the upcoming smartphones as of now, most of the specifications of Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+ and Samsung Galaxy S22 have been revealed by various tipsters. We can not confirm whether these details are true until the devices are unveiled to the public. Now, a new report by GalaxyClub has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22+ will feature a 10MP selfie camera.
The report claims that both the devices will have a similar front camera as seen on Samsung Galaxy S21 and Samsung Galaxy S21+. It is also possible that the devices will also share the same sensor size and aperture. The top of the line Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is reported to sport a similar 40MP selfie shooter as its predecessors Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
When it comes to rear cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ are speculated to come with 50MP GN5 camera lens along with 12MP ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. The Galaxy 22 Ultra is expected to get an improved 108MP camera sensor.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S22 series is likely to pack a powerful Exynos 2200 chipset. In the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the chipset is expected to be paired with an AMD GPU clocked at 120MHz frequency. The Galaxy S22 Ultra model is rumoured to pack a 5,000 mAh battery followed by S22+ that’s likely to have a 4,500 mAh battery. Due to the smaller size, the base S22 is expected to get a 3,700 mAh battery. The leaks also suggest that the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra and S22+ will feature 45W charging and S22 will get 25W charging support.
