Samsung Galaxy S22 pre-order and sale details surface online
NEW DELHI: Samsung is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphones series this week. The event christened, Galaxy Unpacked, is scheduled for February 9, where the Galaxy S22 smartphone series would be launched.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 series will comprise three smartphones — Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. A lot of leaks have surfaced online, revealing pretty much everything about the upcoming smartphones. Now, some more information about the upcoming smartphones has surfaced online. The new online leak reveals the pre-order offers and some details about the sale.

The Twitter account, TechInsider has shared a link, which shows the pre-order page for the Galaxy S22 series. According to the link of a Polish website, Samsung will give Galaxy Buds Pro as freebies during the pre-order period.
Alongside this, Samsung may also offer a buy-back guarantee of up to PLN 3,000 (~$752) on the new smartphones. To recall, Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro comes with active noise cancellation and a water-resistant design.
Expected release date
The webpage also confirms that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be released on February 25, whereas the other two smartphones will go on sale starting March 11. Customers will be able to pre-order the smartphones starting February 9.
Along with the Galaxy S22 series smartphones, the company will also launch the Galaxy Tab S8 series at the event. The leak also reveals that the customers will also be able to pre-order the Galaxy Tab S8 series on the same day.
Meanwhile, the company has also started pre-reservation for the upcoming smartphones in the US.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series likely specifications
As per reports, the Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone will feature a 6.06-inch dynamic AMOLED display. For context, the Samsung Galaxy S21 comes with a 6.2-inch display. The Samsung Galaxy S22+ is expected to have a 6.5-inch dynamic AMOLED display and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to sport LTPO Dynamic AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution. The display of smartphones is likely to have a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S22 series will be reportedly powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or Exynos 2200 SoC, depending on the market.
The Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22+ are reported to feature a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP primary lens, a 10MP telephoto lens with support for 3x optical zoom and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
For selfies and video calls, the smartphones may sport a 10MP camera at the front as seen on Samsung Galaxy S21 and Samsung Galaxy S21+. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to have a 108MP + 12MP + 10MP triple camera setup at the back and a 32MP selfie shooter at the front
