Samsung Galaxy S22 series may get display upgrades, better battery performance – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics Samsung recently launched its flagship foldable smartphones — Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. So, after this much-awaited launch, it is now time to shift focus on the next flagship smartphone series of the company– Samsung Galaxy S22. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones earlier next year and now information about the specs design of the upcoming smartphones has surfaced online.
Popular tipster Ice Universe has revealed some of the key specifications and details about the upcoming three Samsung Galaxy S22 models. As per the leak, the company is expected to make some design changes in the yet-to-launch smartphones.
According to the tipster, Samsung is said to bring a 6-inch Galaxy S22, 6.55-inch Galaxy S22+ and 6.81-inch Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone. The display on the Samsung Galaxy S22 models is said to sport 120Hz refresh rate. The leak also reveals that the most-expensive Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to come with dynamic refresh rate alteration. This feature will reportedly boost the battery life of the big-screen smartphone.
Talking about the camera department, Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ are expected to feature an all-new 50MP main sensor along with a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide camera. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to pack a 108MP main camera with three 12MP auxiliary sensors, which will include a telephoto, a periscope and an ultra-wide angle snapper.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ are said to pack 3800mAh and 4000mAh batteries respectively. Whereas, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to house a 5000mAh battery.
