Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra gets a new Green colour variant in India

Besides the new colour, the Galaxy S22 Ultra retains similar specifications. In the US and Europe, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is also available in additional colours, including Graphite, Red, and Sky Blue, but it remains unclear whether Samsung will launch those colours in India.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra Green colour option can be purchased via Samsung and Amazon websites. It can only be purchased in a 12GB+256GB configuration that costs Rs 109,999. The company is offering a Rs 5,000 instant cashback when purchased through the HDFC Bank credit/debit cards. Samsung is offering an upgrade bonus of Rs 8,000 for the Galaxy S and Note series, while other device holders get a bonus of Rs 5,000.

Customers are entitled to buy the Galaxy Watch 4 at Rs 2,999. Buyers purchasing through the Samsung Shop app to buy the phone get an additional discount of Rs 2,000.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra costs Rs 109,999 for the 12GB+256GB model, Rs 118,999 for the 12GB+512GB version and Rs 134,999 for the 1TB storage option.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra sports a 6.8-inch QHD+ Edge Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz sampling rate, Vision Booster, Eye Comfort Shield and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. The chipset is aided by up to 12GB LPDDRX RAM and 1TB internal storage. It runs on Android 12 with OneUI 4.1 custom skin out of the box.

Moving to optics, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a quad-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 108MP primary wide camera with f/1.8, dual pixel autofocus, and OIS, a 12MP f/1.8 ultra-wide camera with 120-degree FoV and a couple of 10MP telephoto sensors with f/2.4 and f/4.8 aperture. There is a 40MP sensor on the front with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video chats.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, AKG speakers and S Pen support. A 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging support, 15W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS+GLONASS, NFC, MST, and USB Type-C port.
