Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 12GB RAM variant spotted on Geekbench: Details – Times of India

South Korea-based smartphone maker Samsung is gearing up to introduce its next-gen flagship smartphones. The company is expected to unveil the Galaxy S23 series in the month of February this year. The series is said to include the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone models.
Online leaks, certifications, and benchmarks have so far revealed several details about the upcoming devices. The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s base RAM capacity and overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset were previously revealed by one of these benchmarks. The highest memory variant is now revealed in a new Geekbench benchmark listing.

According to recent reports by Gizmochina, the upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra has surfaced on Geekbench. The device is now listed with the model number SM-S918B and comes equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, whose primary CPU core (Cortex-X3) has a maximum clock speed of 3.36GHz. The listing also reveals the device’s 12GB RAM capacity, which appears to be the maximum for this particular model.
Galaxy S23 Ultra: Expected features and specifications
According to an earlier TENAA listing, the Galaxy S23 Ultra could feature a 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels and 16.7 million colours. The smartphone is rumoured to come in two RAM configurations of 8GB and 12GB and three storage variants of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
The listing has also suggested that the device may come equipped with a 108MP main camera, which is probably the Samsung ISOCELL HM3 model. In addition, the smartphone’s rear camera setup could also feature a 2MP sensor, a 12MP telephoto sensor, and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor.
