Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra may come with a new 200MP sensor – Times of India

Samsung’s’ Galaxy S series Ultra models have come with some big cameras with high-zoom. Now, the upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra is rumored to feature a 200MP camera but it could be a new sensor other than what Samsung has already launched.
According to notable tipster Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could come with a 200MP sensor. However, this 200MP sensor could be a completely new sensor – the ISOCELL HP2. This would be the third 200MP sensor from Samsung so far after the HP1 and HP3. Yes, there is an ISOCELL HP3 out there already.
Samsung could release its third 200MP sensor with the Galaxy S23 Ultra
Last year, Samsung unveiled its first 200MP sensor – the ISOCELL HP1. This year, Samsung introduced another 200MP sensor – the ISOCELL HP3 – which could debut with a new smartphone this month. So, the next alleged sensor in the 200MP portfolio could be the ISOCELL HP2. However, not much is known about the new 200MP HP2 sensor.
Meanwhile, the other cameras on the Galaxy S23 Ultra are expected to remain the same as its predecessor. A report suggests that the smartphone may come with a 10MP periscope sensor with 10x zoom. However, we suggest taking this with a pinch of salt as these are mere speculations.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 series might debut in the first half of 2023. We do not know much about the upcoming flagship Galaxy series smartphones. But we expect to learn more about Samsung’s upcoming top of the line smartphones as the launch nears.
