After removing the back panel and revealing the guts of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the YouTuber showcases that the device’s battery is removable, with a plastic pull tap on top saying: Pull out. You can pull the battery out with your hands without reaching out for tools. This subtle change on the inside of the S23 Ultra makes it more repair-friendly, as it’s now easier to change a deteriorated battery with a fresh one.

Samsung overly applied adhesive to the battery in the Galaxy S22 Ultra, making it extremely difficult for a layman without specialised tools to remove it from the phone. To do so, one would need to soften the adhesive using isopropyl alcohol.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s front and back adhere together, but separating them is pretty straightforward, but a first-timer may make a blunder while doing so. It’s always a good idea to be extremely careful and patient, as this phone starts at Rs 1,04,999, and you wouldn’t want to mess anything up. Even Zack came close to making a costly error that’d have rendered the screen worthless.
