South Korea-based tech giant Samsung is set to hold its first major launch event of the year. The company will launch its next-gen flagship smartphones at the 2023 Galaxy Unpacked event. This event is scheduled to start today (February 1) at 11.30 pm. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S23 series smartphones along with several other products at the event. The Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup will include the vanilla Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra models. Apart from this, the e-commerce platform Flipkart is expected to be an exclusive online partner.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event 2023: How to watch
This event is going to be Samsung’s first in-person Galaxy Unpacked event since it became completely virtual after the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak in 2020. The event will be live-streamed on the company’s official website. You can also watch the live event on Samsung India‘s official YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages. The company is also expected to live stream the event on its social media channels as well.
Samsung Galaxy S23 series: What to expect
Samsung has already teased some details about the upcoming Galaxy S23 lineup ahead of the launch. As per the company, the camera module of the smartphone series will have an updated design where three lenses will be placed vertically, one after the other. Samsung has also revealed the new colour variants that will be available for the Galaxy S23 series — pastel yellow, powder blue, pristine white and wine. All the models in the Galaxy S23 lineup are expected to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform.

Samsung Galaxy Book3 series: What to expect
Apart from the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung is also likely to debut the Galaxy Book 3 series laptops at this event. The lineup will include five new laptop models — Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Galaxy Book 3 360, Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 and Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra may sport an AMOLED display and is said to come powered by a 13th Intel Core i9 CPU, backed by up to 32GB of RAM, 1TB of PCIe NVMe Gen4 storage and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics unit. The laptop will support a 76Wh battery and may ship with a 136W charger. The Ultra variant may also offer an S Pen holder.
Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro is expected to arrive in two variants – 14-inch and 16-inch. The laptop is expected to be powered by Intel Core (13th-gen i5 or i7) processors coupled with 16GB RAM and 1TB of NVMe SSD. The 14-inch model is rumoured to have a 63Wh battery, while the 16-inch option may have the same 76Wh cell as the Ultra variant.
