Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series price tipped months before the official announcement – Times of India

Samsung is expected to announce next-generation Galaxy Watch in the coming months alongside the Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4. The Galaxy Watch 5 series is expected to have two variants — one standard variant and a Pro variant. The Galaxy Watch would come in two sizes – 40mm and 44mm – and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is said to be available in a single 44mm size. Now, the prices of Galaxy Watch 5 variants have been tipped suggesting that they might cost more than the current generation Galaxy Watch models.
WinFuture’s Roland Quandt tipped the price and colour options of Galaxy Watch 5 models on Twitter. As per the tweet, the Galaxy Watch 5 40mm would cost EUR 300 (Rs 24,655 ) while the LTE version of the same might be priced at EUR 350 (Rs 28,776 ). It might come in Pink Gold, Gray, and Silver colourways.
Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is said to replace Galaxy Watch 4 classic
The Galaxy Watch 5 44mm model is said to bear a price tag of EUR 350 (Rs 28,776 ) whereas the LTE version might retail at EUR 400 (Rs 32,894 ). It is rumoured to be available in Blue, Gray and Silver colour options. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro could come at EUR 490 (Rs 40,296 ) and the LTE version would cost EUR 540 (Rs 44,407 ). It would be available in two colours – Black and Titanium.
If the tipster is correct about the pricing, then the Galaxy Watch 5 series might be a little pricier than the Galaxy Watch 5. The Galaxy Watch 4 was launched at a starting price of EUR 269 and went as high as EUR 449 for the top-end Galaxy Watch 4 Classic LTE model. If that is the case, then we also expect it to cost more in India.
