Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series here. Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch 5 series at its Galaxy Unpacked event alongside its fourth-generation foldable smartphones, Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy z Flip3; and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earbuds.
The Galaxy Watch 5 lineup includes two models — Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. This is the first Galaxy Watch series to feature a ‘Pro’ version. There’s no Galaxy Watch Classic this year. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro model is aimed at serious fitness enthusiasts and outdoor activity lovers. The watch comes with outdoor data tracking capabilities with the ability to import GPS routes.
Galaxy Watch 5 series comes with advanced sleep tracking features including snoring. Other health features include heart rate tracking, blood oxygen level and personalised goal setting. A key highlight of the smartwatches is the new infrared temperature sensor.
Both the watches come with Privacy Dashboard that gives users control on what features and data they want to keep private. Also, the Galaxy Watch 5 models come with Sapphire crystal glass coating on top. .

The Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro are available for pre-order in select markets starting on August 10, with retail availability starting August 26.
