Samsung Galaxy Unpacked confirmed for August 10th

As seen in the promotional video above, the next Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event is set for August 10th, 2022. The video showcases a foldable smartphone, presumably the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, in Lilac colour. We can, however, expect the device to launch in multiple colourways.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 specifications (expected)

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is tipped to feature a 7.6-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the device is said to come with a 6.2-inch HD+ cover display as well. At the front, the device will reportedly make room for a 10MP selfie camera, while at the back, there will reportedly be a 50MP main camera, a 2MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera.

Speaking of the battery of the device, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is tipped to sport a 4,400mAh battery with 45W fast charging support (wired), 15W wireless fast charging support, and 10W reverse wireless charging support. Powering the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which will be coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB onboard memory. The device will possibly ship with Android 12-based OneUI 4.0 custom skin baked atop.
