TL;DR

  • Samsung’s Good Lock customization apps have reportedly landed in more markets.
  • These markets include Europe, Latin America, and a couple of Asian countries.

Samsung’s Good Lock suite of apps allows for an unprecedented amount of customization on your phone, but the apps have been limited to just a few countries for the longest time.

That’s changing in a big way today, as SamMobile readers report that Good Lock is now available in plenty more countries via the Galaxy Store.

More specifically, readers reported that Good Lock is now available in Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, and Thailand.

A long-overdue expansion

It’s possible that there are a few countries missing from the list. Nevertheless, this represents a major expansion for the Samsung customization suite. These aforementioned countries now join Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, the UAE, the UK and the US.

In saying so, it looks like there are still plenty of markets that haven’t received Good Lock yet, including the entire African continent, the rest of the Middle East, several European countries, and a few Asian markets. So we hope for continued expansion in the coming weeks.

You can look forward to a variety of customization apps if you’ve just received Good Lock in your market. These apps let you tweak and customize everything from audio and one-handed use to the camera app and Bixby.
