Samsung is focused on Galaxy ecosystem to set its Galaxy Book lineup apart from other Windows laptops

Last year Samsung entered the laptop market in India with the launch of the Galaxy Book2 series and the company has just unveiled its Galaxy Book3 lineup globally at the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. Now, ever since Samsung has re-entered the laptop segment, the Galaxy Book lineup has always focused on offering a complete ecosystem by offering tighter integration among their products with the Galaxy Book laptops.
The Galaxy Book3 brings newer and even better integration for the Galaxy devices as a part of the entire ecosystem.
Speaking to TOI-Gadgets Now, Mincheol Lee, Vice President, Head of Galaxy Eco Biz Team, Mobile Experience Business, Samsung Electronics said that with the entire multi-device and Galaxy ecosystem, Samsung aims at offering a Connected PC experience to its users.
Samsung Galaxy Book3 series connect features
As mentioned, Samsung is heavily focusing on connecting PC experience with their Galaxy Book3 lineup. The connected feature includes a slew of connect features to simplify certain tasks for users.
Samsung has added almost all its apps and services to the Galaxy Book3 series. This includes Smart Switch, Single sign-on, Samsung Notes, Samsung Gallery, Samsung, Screen Recorder, Samsung Flow, Samsung Recovery, Samsung Settings, Studio Plus, Samsung Update, Samsung Security and Quick Share.
In addition to this, the Galaxy Book3 series also brings additional features like multitasking which allows users to use the laptop’s keyboard and mouse to control other Galaxy devices. Or, transfer files between devices and also copy/ paste text and images. Another feature is Second screen that transforms the Galaxy Tab into a secondary screen for added screen space.
As a part of offering a connected user experience, Samsung has also added new features to the Phone Link app. The app now puts recently viewed web pages, texts and calls right on the PC. Allowing users to resume from where they left off on their Galaxy smartphone.
Overall, the inclusion of the Samsung services is a step towards having a better-synchronised user experience between Windows and Android, one thing that has been missing from Windows and Android platforms for a while now.
This also makes the Galaxy Book series devices stand apart from other Windows 11 PCs available in the market.
