Samsung launches Galaxy Chromebook Go with up to 8GB RAM – Times of India
Expanding its laptop lineup, Samsung has quietly launched its Galaxy Chromebook Go globally. This Galaxy Chromebook Go is an affordable Chrome-OS based laptop which features very modest internals like a 14-inch display, decent CPU and more.
Though the company has not yet confirmed the pricing of the laptop, we can expect it to arrive at under $400 (approximately Rs 29,727) price tag.
Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go: Specifications
The Galaxy Chromebook Go, as mentioned above, comes with pretty modest internals. The laptop features a 14-inch HD screen with 1366 by 768 pixels resolution. It runs the latest version of Chrome OS. The laptop is powered by Intel Celeron N4500 processor with Intel UHD integrated graphics.
The laptop will be available in different configurations. Depending upon the market it launches, the laptop will come with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB internal storage.
It’s a lightweight laptop at just 1.45Kg and is 15.9mm thick. It features a sleek and compact design.
The laptop also comes with a number of I/O options including 2 x USB-C, 1 x USB-A, 1 x 3.5mm headphone input, 1 x microSD card slot and a nano-SIM card (for LTE version only).
Other features of the Chromebook Go includes a HD webcam, 42.3Wh battery which supports 45W USB Type-C charging. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth come as standard as well.
