Samsung reportedly resumes Android 12 roll out after collaborating with Google
Samsung has reportedly resumed roll out of Android 12 based One UI 4.0 operating system. The tech giant first started to release the OS update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Samsung Galaxy S21 series, but the update was paused due to several bugs that were reported by users. According to an alleged announcement by a Samsung Community Moderator, few devices started to experience an error that is said to be due to compatibility issues with Google Play. Now, as per a report by XDADevelopers, Samsung and Google collaborated to fix the bug and since the error has been eliminated, Samsung devices have started to receive a stable One UI 4.0 update once again.
As per previous reports, the issues that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 users in South Korea faced after the update included the device being bricked. A few users complained that their devices were going into recovery mode after installing the update. Some of the users also experienced camera issues. As reported by users, the images were getting automatically deleted from the phone gallery and there were some phones that delivered poor quality audio recording.
According to another report, Samsung has started working on the One UI 4.1 update and it is expected to release early next year. Quoting a Samsung Members forum moderator, the report adds that the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones will run on Android 12 based One UI 4.1 update out of the box. Along with this, the newer version of the One UI is also expected to be released for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20, and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in February 2022.
