Samsung rolls out Android 13 update to Galaxy M32, Galaxy F22 in India – Times of India

Samsung is continuously expanding its Galaxy devices that are receiving the OneUI 5.0 update based on Android 13 OS. Launched back in 2021, Samsung Galaxy M32 and Galaxy F22 have now started receiving the Android 13 update in India. Of these, the 5G variant of the Galaxy M32 smartphone received the update in November. It’s time for the LTE variant to undergo some changes.
The update for Samsung Galaxy M32 LTE comes with the firmware version M325FXXU4CVK6 and also features the October 2022 security patch.

While the Galaxy F22 is receiving the One UI 5.0 update bearing the firmware version E225FXXU4CVK4. This firmware also includes the October 2022 security patch.Z
Samsung Galaxy M32, F22 users can follow the steps below to install the update:
1) Open the Setting app.
2) Scroll down and tap the Software Update menu.
3) Tap Download and Install.
Samsung Galaxy M32 LTE: Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy M32 comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. Samsung claims, in bright light, the High Brightness Mode automatically turns on to take Galaxy M32’s screen brightness to 800 nits.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio G80 processor. The Galaxy M32 comes in two memory variants- 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. The smartphone was launched with Android 11 operating system and One UI 3.1 interface onboard.
The Samsung Galaxy M32 comes with a 64MP quad-camera set-up with a 20MP front camera. On the rear, Galaxy M32 comes with a 64MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera that enables consumers to capture landscapes with 123 degrees field of view. The 2 MP macro lens provides macro shots and there’s another 2MP sensor for portrait mode. Galaxy M32 also comes with camera modes like Hyperlapse, Slow motion, Food Mode, Pro mode and AR zone.
The Samsung Galaxy M32 is powered by a 6000mAh battery. It supports 25W charging and comes with an in-box 15W fast charger. The phone delivers 130 hours of music playback, 40 hours of talk time and 25 hours of video playback.
The Samsung Galaxy M32 comes in two memory variants- 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively.
Samsung Galaxy F22: Specifications
Samsung Galaxy F22 has a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. The phone’s screen has a refresh rate of 90Hz and offers high brightness mode of 600 nits. The smartphone comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and features Dolby Atmos support.
The handset is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor. Samsung Galaxy F22 houses a 6,000mAh battery and comes with a 15W USB-C fast charger. The device can support up to 25W charging. Samsung claims that the phone can deliver 130 hours of music playback, 40 hours of talk time, 25 hours of video playback and 24 hours of internet usage time.
The smartphone boasts a quad-camera setup at the back. It is equipped with a 48MP main camera with ISOCELL Plus technology and GM2 sensor, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree field of view, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth camera.
At the front, the device comes with a 13MP selfie camera. Galaxy F22 comes with camera modes like Hyperlapse, Slow motion, Food Mode, Pro mode and AR zone. The smartphone comes in Denim Blue and Denim Black colour options.
