According to a report by Sammobile, the South Korean technology company, the ‘Galaxy to Share’ feature comes with an update that has firmware version 1.0.22.0. It is to be noted that the ‘Galaxy to Share’ feature is not available in all regions.
The supported modules and standalone Good Lock apps include Keys Cafe, Theme Park, LockStar, NavStar, MultiStar, QuickStar, ClockFace, Home Up, One Hand Operation+, and Sound Assistant.
Galaxy to Share is different from the other apps, such as Camera Assistant, that are offered under Good Lock Labs. The Camera Assistant works without the Good Lock platform and is available globally. Camera Assistant offers Galaxy smartphone users more control over some parameters such as HDR, lens switching, shutter, timeout and others. Samsung will likely improve the capabilities of the feature in future updates.
Samsung is reportedly also working on a ‘Self Repair Assistant’ mobile application for DIYers (do it yourself). As per the app’s icon shown in the trademark app, it has a cogwheel and a wrench with a blue background.
Samsung OneUI 5.0
Recently Samsung started releasing OneUI 5.0 for a few smartphones. The company notes that the Android 13-based UI brings more personalised experiences with custom-built Modes and Routines. Galaxy smartphone users will also be able to get access to a new Dynamic Lock screen that displays multiple visuals on your phone, your Galaxy Watch and other One UI 5 devices.
Among various other features, the newest UI also brings daily health solutions to help track health and wellness. “This includes the Samsung Privileged Health SDK, which enables developers to build apps that leverage the BioActive Sensor on the Galaxy Watch,” Samsung says.
