Samsung rolls out November 2022 security update to Galaxy A32 5G

Samsung launched the Galaxy A32 5G smartphone last year in November. The South Korean smartphone maker has begun rolling out the Android 13 OneUI 5.0 update for its devices. Perhaps, the Galaxy A32 5G, which comes under Samsung’s mid-range segment will have to wait for some more time for the Android 13 OS update. Currently, the device runs Android 12 OS.
In some European countries like– Ireland, Spain and the United Kingdom, carrier variants of the Galaxy A32 5G have started receiving an update with firmware version– A326BXXS4BVK1 that upgrades the phone to the November 2022 security patch. However, the LTE Galaxy A32 variant hasn’t caught up with the 5G variant in terms of security level but this is expected to change soon.

“The new Galaxy A32 5G update does not bring Android 13 and One UI 5.0 to the device. In fact, it’s devoid of any changes or improvements except fixes for security vulnerabilities addressed by the November security patch, including one that allowed attackers to extract call information from a Galaxy phone or tablet,” reports SamMobile.
Here’s how to download the update:
1) Open the Setting app.
2) Scroll down and tap the Software Update menu.
3) Tap Download and Install.
Samsung A32 5G gets a price cut
Earlier this year, Samsung slashed the price of the Galaxy A32 in India. The mid-range smartphone received a price drop of Rs 3,500. The smartphone was launched at Rs 23,499 and is now available for purchase at Rs 19,999. Samsung Galaxy A32 comes in Awesome Blue, Awesome Black and Awesome Violet colour options.
