Samsung rolls out second Android 13-based update to Galaxy A52: Here’s what has changed
According to a report by SamMobile, the update bears the firmware version A525FXXS4CVK4 and has started rolling out in Germany, Kazakhstan and some countries in the Caucasian region.
Samsung is likely to take some time to fix the issues that the Android 13 firmware may have caused to the updated Galaxy devices. The company is also working on rolling out security updates simultaneously for the mid-range smartphones like Galaxy A52 among others.
Here’s how to download the OneUI 5.0 update based on Android 13.
1. Open the Settings app on the Samsung Galaxy A52 phone.
2. Scroll down and tap Software update.
3. Tap Download and Install.
Users are also advised to keep a backup before installing the update. Although it is very unlikely that an update would cause any trouble to the device.
Samsung Galaxy A52: Specifications
Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 smartphone in India in March 2021. The smartphone flaunts a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.
The device is powered by an octa-core processor and offers up to 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
On the rear, the Samsung Galaxy A52 sports a 64MP main sensor driven by OIS technology, 12MP ultra-wide sensor, 5MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro sensor. The front houses a 32MP selfie shooter. The camera supports UHD 4K recording with 3840×2160 pixels resolution at 30fps.
The device is backed by a 4500mAh battery and has a USB Type-C port.
Sensors onboard include accelerometer, fingerprint sensor, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, hall sensor, light sensor and virtual proximity sensing.
