Samsung has started rolling out a new update for its 2022 flagship smartphone — Galaxy S22 Ultra. The latest update carries June 2022 Android security update and along with that it also brings some camera improvements, according to the official Korean Samsung community page.
The update, as per the report, is pretty big and has a download size of around 1.7GB and is currently rolling out in the South Korean region. It is also expected to expand to more regions soon.
Meanwhile, if you are in that region, you’ll either receive the OTA update notification or you can manually check for the update by heading to Settings → Software Update.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: Update changelog
As reported on the official community page by users, the latest update brings improvement to ’contrast expression and provides natural clarity when taking pictures’. Also, the issue with Single-Take mode with one-time stopping has been addressed and fixed.
In addition to that, the ‘AWB algorithm has been improved for better white colour when capturing dogs. Video memory has also been optimised with the latest update for Galaxy S22 Ultra along with the portrait photo algorithm and overall camera performance.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features a massive 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen + chipset paired with 12GB RAM and up to 1TB onboard storage.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy S22 Ultra features a 108MP primary camera along with two 10MP telephoto shooters and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The handset is also equipped with laser autofocus for faster focusing.
