samsung: Samsung to hold ‘biggest-ever’ unboxing event for Galaxy S22 Ultra on March 5 – Times of India

Samsung has recently launched its Galaxy S22 series smartphones in India. The lineup includes Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra and all three smartphones are available for pre-booking via Samsung’s official website, Amazon India website as well as offline retail stores till March 10 and the smartphones are set to go on sale from March 11 onwards.
Ahead of the market launch, the company has announced its biggest-even unboxing event for the Galaxy S22 Utra. The company is calling it #EpicUnboxing. During the event, customers who’ve pre-booked the Galaxy S22 Ultra will get exclusive access to the device before it gets officially available for purchase at the stores.
The unboxing event is scheduled for March 5 and according to the company, it will be conducted simultaneously across 17 cities with 1000+ customers.
Apart from that, the customers will also get limited edition boxes especially created for the event. The limited edition box will contain the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2 free of cost along with the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The box also contains a thankyou note from the company printed on seed paper which can be planted by the customers.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: Pre-booking offers
Customers pre-booking Galaxy S22 Ultra will get Galaxy Watch4 worth Rs 26,999 at just Rs 2,999. Customers pre-booking Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 will get Galaxy Buds 2 worth Rs 11,999 at Rs 999.
Additionally, Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series customers will get an upgrade bonus of Rs 8,000 while other device holders will get an upgrade bonus of Rs 5,000. Alternatively, customers who opt to purchase these devices via Samsung Finance+, can avail a cashback of Rs 5,000
Galaxy S22 Ultra: Specifications
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the first Galaxy S smartphone to come with built-in stylus support. Apart from that, the smartphone features a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate support.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon’s latest 8 Gen 1 chipset and is paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
In terms of camera, the smartphone comes with quad rear camera setup comprised of an 108MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra wide sensor and two 10MP telephoto sensors with 3X and 10X zoom.
