Samsung starts rolling out One UI 5.1 update to Galaxy Z series and older Galaxy S series phones

Samsung announced the One UI 5.1 update alongside the Galaxy S23 series launch at the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. The latest handsets are yet to go on sale. However, ahead of that, the company has already started extending the latest One UI 5.1 update to its other flagship devices, reports SamMobile.
Samsung One UI 5.1 update: Devices that are getting the update
According to the report, the One UI 5.1 update is now rolling out to Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 4. Along with these, the previous generation Galaxy S series phones — Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy S22 series devices are also getting the update.
Samsung One UI 5.1 update: Rollout details
The report suggests that the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra are getting an OTA update with firmware version S908EXXU3CWAI. The report also confirms that the update is currently rolling out in Nepal, Australia, India and Sri Lanka.
It is expected that Samsung will expand the update rollout to more regions in the coming months.

Samsung One UI 5.1 update includes February 2023 security patch along with other changes and improvements. The One UI 5.1, in terms of features brings improvements to the gallery, connectivity, Dex mode and more. Apart from that, the One UI 5.1 also brings support for Expert RAW mode, stability improvements and more.

To check for updates, head to Settings → Software update and tap on Download and install button. Once the update is available, wait for it to download and install. Then restart the phone when asked to finish the update process.
