Samsung’s high-end The Frame TV series has been updated in India. The company has launched The Frame TV 2021 lineup of premium 4K TVs and it includes four models. The Frame TV is known for its sleek and slim profile and the new series even comes with customisable borders to look like a picture frame. Samsung wants to market The Frame TV 2021 as a home decor item, complete with customisable bezels that blend right into your space. However, it is also an excellent smart TV in its own right. One of the Samsung The Frame 2021 key features includes what Samsung calls the ‘Art Mode’. Essentially, you can showcase your art in true-to-life colours via a dedicated mode. Alternatively, you can buy art from world-renowned artists or subscribe to a monthly service that gives you access to the said pieces.
Samsung The Frame TV 2021 price in India
Given the laundry list of features it offers, it comes as no surprise that the Samsung The Frame TV 2021 is priced on the higher end. The 43-inch variant is priced at Rs 61,990 in India. Prices of the 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch models will be revealed at a later date. Furthermore, people who buy the TV early will get a bezel worth Rs 9,990 for free. It will be available for purchase on Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung’s retail channels. HDFC Bank cardholders can avail of an additional discount of Rs 3,000 if they purchase via no-cost EMI options. Samsung The Frame TV 2021 specifications
Samsung The Frame TV 2021 ships with a 4K QLED panel across all models. It also runs Samsung’s Quantum 4K AI processor that upscales all content to 4K. The ambient light sensor adjusts picture parameters based on the environment. There’s a motion sensor thrown in the mix, too, which dims the panel when nobody is around. Lastly, its adjustable stand also makes cable management a whole lot easier, along with the included One Connect box that discreetly interfaces with your TV via a translucent cable.
On the software side of things, Samsung The Frame TV 2021 is a part of Samsung’s Smart Things ecosystem, meaning that you can control it via the Samsung Smart Things app on any smartphone. Furthermore, it is also compatible with AirPlay 2.0, allowing iPhone users to take advantage of Apple’s new tech. The TV also ships with what Samsung calls a solar remote. It can essentially recharge itself with ambient light, eliminating the use of conventional batteries.
