samsung: These Samsung users are facing issues while playing Diablo Immortal

Diablo is one of the most famous major titles which was first released for PCs. Blizzard has recently unveiled Diablo Immortal for Android, iOS and PC, four years after the game was first announced. This new game was released a day before its scheduled date. However, some Samsung users are complaining about facing technical issues while playing, shortly after the game made its way to mobile platforms. According to a report by Engadget, Diablo Immortal has been “unplayable” on some Samsung devices that are powered by the company’s in-house Exynos chipsets. The report also mentions that players with Samsung phones took to Reddit and other community forums to complain about these issues among which, one of the most prominent problems was regarding the game’s textures not loading properly for those handsets.
Devices affected by the issue
The Samsung devices that are affected by this issue ranges from old to new handset that has an Exynos chip. Not only is the issue prevalent in older devices like the Galaxy S10, Note 10 and A51 5G, but people are also facing the issues in newer models like Galaxy S22. Samsung devices that are powered by Qualcomm chipsets will be able to download and play the game without any issue. Users can also check what chipset their phone features by visiting the “About Phone” section of Android’s system settings.
Blizzard’s reaction to this issue
SamMobile has reported that a Blizzard spokesperson has commented on Reddit that the developers are exploring the issues that players are experiencing with some specific Samsung Galaxy devices that use Exynos chipsets. Moreover, the developers might also disable downloads for these sets of devices while they work to address the issue and has also promised to fix the issue as soon as possible.
