According to an online report, Samsung may launch Android 13 beta for its smartphones by the end of July. The report also adds that the final beta may be released by October this year.
As reported by Sammobile, Samsung may launch the One UI 5.0 public beta based on Android 13 by July end. The company has not yet confirmed anything about the launch yet. The report adds that the company may roll out the One UI 5.0 update on Galaxy S22 series. After that, the company may launch software updates on Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
The report has also not yet revealed any upcoming features of the Samsung One UI 5.0.
Meanwhile, Google released the third beta of Android 13. The new beta update brings platform stability and some bug fixes. There are multiple bug fixes, but the major issue which prevented Pixel smartphones running Android 13 beta from connecting to a known Wi-Fi network has been fixed. Also, swiping back would not cause UI to crash anymore, as a fix has been issued in the latest release. Further, the release fixes the issue, which freezes the UI when plugged into charging.
The changelog further suggests that the Android 13 beta 3.3 improves “connectivity thermal power management,” which is said to be the reason behind poor battery life in the previous iterations of Android 13 beta.
