Samsung’s surprise event RUINED as leak reveals EVERYTHING on Galaxy Watch, Fold 3, Buds

If you’re a fan of surprises, you should probably stop reading right now. That’s because renowned tipster Evan Blass has outdone himself and published images and GIFs of a number of as-yet-unannounced products purportedly coming soon from Samsung. The leaks, published in a lengthy thread on Twitter, features a dizzying number of upcoming gadgets, including two new Galaxy Fold handsets, new Galaxy FE, two new Galaxy Watches, and even a set of new Galaxy Buds.

Not content with revealing a massive roster of devices, Evan Blass also claims to have published the date of the next Galaxy Unpacked launch event. According to Blass, Samsung fans need to make a note of August 11, 2021 in their diaries.

While Evan Blass has a pretty solid track record when it comes to revealing new gadgets, it’s still worth taking all of the above with a healthy pinch of salt. After all, nothing is confirmed until Samsung sends out the invites to its next Galaxy Unpacked event.

But while nothing is guaranteed, it’s still exciting to trawl through the blockbuster list of gadgets supposedly coming from Samsung next month. First up, successors to the Galaxy Fold 2 5G and Galaxy Z Flip will be announced. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will purportedly bring support for the S Pen stylus – following in the footsteps of the popular Galaxy Note series, meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 looks set to ship in either purple, black, gold, and green colour options.

Blass has also shared a first glimpse at the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which stands for “Fan Edition”. This model will follow the hugely-popular Galaxy S20 FE, which takes inspiration from the current flagship device but makes some tweaks designed to lower the entry price compared to the standard Galaxy S21. That formula could make the S21 FE a sales behemoth when it arrives.

Next up, Evan Blass tweeted GIFs of two new Samsung smartwatches. One of these wearables closely matches reports of a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The design sticks close to what you’d expect to see from an analogue watch, but with the Galaxy Watch’s trademark rotating bezel to scroll through menus, and two side buttons.

Blass also published images of the Galaxy Watch Active 4. Available in 44mm and 40mm case sizes, this model drops the rotating bezel – so you’ll need to put up with a touchscreen covered in smudges from your fingertip. Seemingly coming in black, grey, dark green, white, and peach.

And that’s still not all. Finishing up his sprawling thread, Blass revealed the design of the next model of Galaxy Buds. Dubbed Galaxy Buds 2, these new wireless earbuds will add active noise-cancellation to cut out the background noise. We’d expect to see Samsung’s Transparency Mode, which allows users to temporarily disable the noise-cancellation to listen to a tannoy announcement at a station or airport without digging the earbud out of their ear, make the cut on this next-generation pair.

Blass revealed the charging case, which can be used to top-up the battery life of each Bluetooth ‘bud when out-and-about, will be white, while the earbuds themselves will be available in grey, purple, and white.

In summary, if you’re itching to upgrade your smartphone or earbuds – August 11, 2021 could be a blockbuster date for you. If the leaks are accurate, Samsung seems to be lining up one of its biggest-ever hardware launch events.
