Sony has good news for PC gamers, another PlayStation 5 exclusive is coming

Sony is bringing another PlayStation-exclusive title to PC, and it is none other than last year’s Returnal, which was released exclusively for the PlayStation 5 last year. The PC version of the Returnal has been created with Climax Studios.
The third-person shooting game comes on PC early next year. Sony says that it has made some tweaks to the PC version of the game and also improved the performance of the title so it runs as smoothly as possible on your rig.
However, you would need a lot of memory for it to run in its best graphic settings. The Steam listing of the title, which says the game is coming soon, gives a glimpse of what kind of PC you would need to run the game.
Sony recommends you have 32GB RAM for the Returnal PC port
As per the listing, the minimum requirement is Intel Core i5-6400/ AMD Ryzen 5 1500X, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB)/ AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB), 16GB of RAM, and 60GB of available storage, SSD preferred.
Meanwhile, if you go by Sony’s recommendation, you will need Intel i7-8700/ AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU, Nvidia RTX 2070 Super/ AMD RX 6700 XT GPU, 60GB of storage, again SSD preferred, but 32GB of RAM.
We do not know what kind of “tweaks” or “upgrades” Sony has planned for the PC version of Returnal, but the RAM requirement is even higher than what AAA titles ask for.
No crossplay with PS5
The PC port of the game comes with all of the updates released for the PlayStation version, including the Tower of Sisyphus endless mode, the Challenge mode, and the Co-Op mode. However, the Co-Op mode of the PC port would be limited to PC players only, as the cross-play with the PlayStation 5 is not supported. So, those playing on PC will not be able to play with the ones playing on PS5.
