Sony India launches mobile ES amplifiers starting at Rs 45,990 – Times of India

Sony India has expanded its product lineup with the launch of its Mobile ES car amplifier accessories– XM-5ES, XM-4ES, and XM-1ES. The amplifiers come with high-quality sound and can be easily used in cars, claims Sony.

Sony ES car amplifiers come in three different models– XS-1ES at Rs 45,990, XM- 4ES at Rs 45,990 and XM-5ES at Rs 75,990. Two of the devices, namely XS-1ES and XM- 4ES will be available for purchase starting July 6 and XM-5ES can be purchased starting August 2022 onwards.

Sony XS-1ES, XM-4ES and XM-5ES are equipped with High-Resolution Audio that allows users to hear subtle nuances. The amplifiers boosts in-car music with Class-D amplifier that provides a variety of speaker configurations at 4 ohms: XM-5ES (100Wx4+450W RMS); XM-4ES (100Wx4+450W RMS); XM-1ES (600W RMS).
The Mobile ES series uses a DC converter with a toroidal core transformer chosen which is used for less electromagnetic interference.
The speaker terminal features Hex-key screws that provide a durable method of tightening the wire connections while accepting bare wire or wire ferrules.
It has an aluminium frame and solid bottom plate of 1.2mm that helps in reducing vibration and resulting in low resonance.
The controls are logically configured and allows updated grouping for an intuitive operation. Its new signal summing feature consists of pre-filtered audio signals from modern factory car audio systems. The amplifiers can be easily installed in either stereo or mono modes.
Other amplifiers can also be added using the passing through combining channels feature in either stereo or mono modes.
