Sony launches SRS-XY900 Bluetooth party speaker at Rs 79,990

Sony has announced its new part speaker — SRS-XV900 — in India under its wireless speaker X-series lineup. Sony claims it is the company’s most powerful and loudest Bluetooth party speaker. The company further adds that the speaker is designed to fill the space with sound and features a non-circular diaphragm of an X-Balanced speaker unit. Another major highlight of the speaker is that it can also be used to boost the TV sound. Here’s everything you need to know about Sony’s latest Bluetooth party speaker.

Sony has priced the SRS-XV900 speaker at Rs 79,990 and it will be available for purchase from December 5 onwards via all Sony Centers, major electronic stores and e-commerce portals.

Sony SRS-XV900 offers an omnidirectional party sound with its non-circular diaphragm of the X-Balanced speaker unit. The company claims that this allows the speaker to offer less distorted sound and a better bass effect with the jet bass booster technology. The speaker also features dedicated midrange drivers for clear vocals. In addition to this, the speaker also features 6 tweeters on the front, side and back for a wider soundstage.
The SRS-XV900 speaker features Sony’s unique function, TV Sound booster that lets users enjoy the enhanced sound when watching TV. Users can simply connect the optical cable (included) and select TV Sound Booster function irrespective of the TV brand or model.

The speaker also comes with Mega Bass function that claims to help amplify the speaker’s bass output. In terms of battery life, the speaker is rated to deliver up to 25 hours of listening time on a single charge. The speaker also supports quick charging and as per the company’s claim 10 minutes of charge can deliver up to 3 hours of listing time. The speaker also features Battery Care mode that prevents overcharging the speaker and also protects the battery.
Sony has also included a Party Connect feature that works via Bluetooth and allows users to connect up to 100 compatible Sony Bluetooth speakers for synchronised sound and lighting that syncs with the music beats. The speaker also features a USB port that can charge smartphones. The SRS-XV900 also allows you to instantly connect the speaker to your smartphone using Bluetooth fast pair for Android.
The new SRS-XV900 is compatible with both Sony Music Center and Fiestable apps.
