Sony portable speakers: Features
The SRS-XG300, SRS-XE300 and SRS-XE200 come with X-Balanced Speaker Unit that claims to offer enhanced sound quality. The speakers come with a non-circular diaphragm that maximises the area of the diaphragm and increases sound pressure for more punchy bass. It also reduces the driver excursion while maintaining the same sound pressure. The company claims that the new speaker system also enhances mid and low frequencies.
The speakers also feature Live Sound Mode which allows users to reproduce realistic and 3-dimensional sound. The speaker is also angled vertically to serve a wider area and Sony’s Line-Shaper Diffuser technology creates a line source and spreads it more equally.
Apart from that the speakers also come with a Mega Bass feature that, according to the company, boosts the bass output. The speakers also feature an Ambient Illumination feature that automatically synchronises with the music.
The speakers are also compatible with the Sony Music Center app which allows users to control the speaker via the app. The Sony SRS-XG300, SRS-XE300, and SRS-XE200 speakers come with an IP67 rating. The SRS-XE300 and SRS-XE200 can also withstand the inevitable knocks, bumps and scrapes that come with everyday use.
Sony claims that the SRS-XG300 can last for up to 25 hours of playback time. The SRS-XE300 claims to offer 24 hours of playback time. The SRS-XE200, on the other hand, claims to offer 16 hours of playback time.
Apart from that, the speakers also support fast charging and as per the claim, a 10-minute charge will deliver 70 minutes of listening time.
