Sony LinkBuds are here. Sony has added a new product to its audio lineup with the launch of Sony LinkBuds. The true wireless earbuds feature a 12mm driver unit and sport a unique open-ring design. The earbuds come with 360 Reality Audio support and packs Sony’s Integrated Processor V1 and DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) for a rich audio experience. The Sony LinkBuds feature a comfortable design with five sizes so that users can get the best fit.
Price and availability
Sony LinkBuds comes with a price tag of Rs 19,990. Customers can purchase the earbuds in black and grey colour options. The earbuds can be purchased from Sony retail stores, ShopatSC portal, major electronic stores and other e-commerce websites starting August 13.
Sony also introduced a pre-booking promotion offer for its customers. As part of the pre-booking offer, the customers can get the LinkBuds at a discounted price of Rs 12,990. This promotional offer is available from August 4 to August 12, 2022.
Sony LinkBuds features
Sony LinkBuds comes with 12mm open ring drivers. The earbuds feature adaptive volume control which promise to automatically optimise volume based on your surroundings. Users can also control the audio by tapping on the front part of their ears. Tapping on the front also activates the virtual assistants.
Sony LinkBuds support Bluetooth version 5.2 and it also support the Microsoft Soundscape app. The device comes with IPX4 rating which makes the earbuds water-resistant.
Sony LinkBuds promise to offer 5.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. The earbuds come with fast charging support and with 10 minutes of charge users can enjoy 90 minutes of music. The device also comes with fast pairing functionality.
