Sony has finally launched the LinkBuds WF-L900 TWS in India. It is priced at ₹19,900 and will be available starting August 13, 2022. For the price, the unique value proposition is the open ring design that allows neat transparent audio. That’s not all, the uniqueness extends to the smart features like tapping on the cheekbones to control the music playback, easy pairing with your smartphone and PC, etc.

Here are the complete details.

Sony LinkBuds WF-L900 Specs and Features

Sony has designed the LinkBuds with an open-back chassis and a 12mm central diaphragm that boasts natural and transparent sound. Sony says, “You can always stay connected and aware, with the help of an open ring design with audio transparency, ultra-small super fit and crystal-clear sound and call quality. By leveraging LinkBuds’ unique design and its sensor and spatial sound technologies, Sony is creating new sound experiences together with their partners, such as augmented reality (AR) gaming, new work from home experiences, sound AR navigation, and quick access to music”.

The company is also proud of the underlying technologies like precise voice pickup (for call quality), Digital Sound Enhancement Engine, an Integrated V1 Processor, 360 Reality Audio (rich, balanced surround sound), and Bluetooth 5.2 with AAC codec support.

There are the quality of life goodies like Speak-To-Chat (auto pause and play the music when you talk), hands-free voice assistant support (Google and Alexa), Quick Access (of Spotify with a couple of taps), and Adaptive Volume Control (based on your surrounding environment).

LinkBuds is IPX4 water resistant too. The company says the LinkBuds can last for 17.5 hours (5.5 hours from the buds and the rest from the accompanying case). For charging it, you are getting a USB-C port. Plug it in and in about 10 minutes you should get 90 minutes of charge.
