street fighter: Street Fighter 6 to launch in 2023: New details surface online
Capcom, the publisher behind the popular fighting franchise Street Fighter, confirmed the next chapter of the Street Fighter game — Street Fighter 6 — a couple of months ago. Now, the publisher has announced the release timeline of the game. According to a report, Capcom has confirmed that the Street Fighter 6 will release in 2023 and will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The company has also shared a teaser video of the upcoming game. As per the teaser video released earlier, the game will feature Luke, Ryu and Chun-Li as the key players from Street Fighter V. Also, the publisher has already confirmed Luke as a key character for the game.
Street Fighter 6 likely features
Like other games from Capcom, the Street Fighter 6 will also be based on the company’s own RE game engine. The company says that the engine will allow them to fine-tune finer details like muscle tone up, visuals and more. For those who don’t know, the same RE Engine also powers popular titles like Resident Evil Village, Devil May Cry 5 and Monster Hunter: Rise.
Another noticeable feature of the upcoming Street Fighter 6 is the real-time commentary. This will provide players with an easy-to-understand explanation of their game. The commentary, as per the reports, will be available in 13 subtitle languages. Also, the commentary will be voiced by Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez and Aru.
Apart from this, the game is also expected to feature modes from the previous games and some new ones like World Tour and Battle Hub. The company hasn’t yet announced the exact release date for the game as of now.
