Teams’ Odds for the Coming CSGO Event
With esports on the rise, as more viewership rolls into each event, one game seems to stand above the rest and continue to be extremely competitive in its matches. That game is CSGO. Since the first game was released back in 2000, the game has been a part of esports for over two decades. CSGO betting has never been easier with the rise in popularity in esports, as the game has a plethora of options in and outside the game.
While playing the game, there’s no shortage of cases to be opened to collect different skins, knives, and many other cosmetics for the game. Outside the game comes watching the professionals. Many large tournaments are coming up, like the Blast Premier World Final, RIO Major coming in October and November, and the next one coming up IEM Cologne.
Top teams in the industry at the moment
One stand-out difference that esports takes pride in is its ever-changing team dominance and rankings. Many teams have their chance in the spotlight going into a tournament since no team sits at the top of the CSGO world for too long. At the start of 2022, the resurgence of the FaZe Clan became clear to everyone. The team had a rough year in 2021, not making much improvement and being eliminated from tournaments very quickly but would come into 2022 with only dominance on their minds.
With the addition of Ropz, one of the best CSGO players in the world at the moment, the team has won three of the last major tournaments. Taking the crown at ESL Pro League XV, BLAST premiere groups, and the PGL Major Antwerp event that took place in May. Not far behind them, though, are two teams that look to take the top spot from FaZe Clan, both Natus Vincere and Cloud9.
Dominating the tail end of 2021 was Natus Vincere. This team has given a real challenge to FaZe Clan’s dominance in 2022, most recently just barely losing to them in the finals of the PGL Major Antwerp event. The final score of that game came down to the last three rounds, which FaZe Clan was able to win, just barely beating them out 19-16. The team continues to keep their spirits high, hoping to come back to the top of the CSGO esports world.
One team that many people did not see coming this year was Cloud9. Taking almost an entire year off from the tournament in 2021, Cloud9 came back in 2022 with a vengeance attempting to knock off both Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan at each tournament. With a new team looking to make a splash in the Esports world.
Teams’ Odds
The CSGO odds going into IEM Cologne look to knock FaZe Clan off the top of the pedestal. Could you figure which team has the best probability of taking first place in the tournament? As it is no easy task, Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan are neck and neck in odds for who is going to take the tournament home this year.
Going into the tournament, CSGO betting sites agree that Natus Vincere sits at the top, being the favorites for the tournament at the moment with a +195. Coming up right behind them is FaZe Clan, with a +220 odds of taking the tournament. As these two teams are also the top seeds going into the tournament, we might only see them face off in the finals.
The dark horse of this tournament can be either Cloud9 or ENCE, as Cloud9 goes into the tournament with +375 odds and ENCE +425 odds. As both of these teams are a far ways away from both, FaZe Clan and Natus Vincere go into the tournament looking for a big upset. As the world of Esports continues to change, we will see who will be taking the next big tournament this coming October.
