Tecno Camon 17 series India launch date has been revealed by the company after multiple teasers. The phones will be on sale via Amazon as a part of the Prime Day sale that is scheduled for July 26th and 27th. The Tecno Camon 17 series will debut in the country on July 15th and will arrive as a premium mid-range offering. This comes after the handsets have been listed on Amazon with key specifications and revealing the entire design. The Tecno Camon 17 series is expected to include two models: Camon 17 and Camon 17 Pro, the latter should come with a 90Hz display, 64MP primary rear camera, MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, 48MP selfie snapper, a 5,000mAh. 

Tecno Camon 17 Pro specifications

The Tecno Camon 17 series are already available in a few markets. The Pro variant sports a 6.8-inch FHD+ LED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 500nits peak brightness, and punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and at least 128 internal storage that may be expandable. It runs on Android 11 OS with HiOS custom skin on top and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support in India. The Tecno Camon 17 Pro has a quad-camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a couple of 2MP lenses. There is a 48MP shooter for selfies and video calls and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Tecno Camon 17 specifications

The vanilla Tecno Camon 17 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole notch. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It runs on Android 11-based HiOS custom skin out of the box. The Camon 17 packs a triple-rear camera setup, with a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP sensor. There is a 16MP snapper for selfies and video chats. A 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support fuels the phone. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
