Tecno launches Phantom X2 Pro 4G smartphone with retractable portrait lens, Dimensity 9000 chipset and more – Times of India
Tecno announced its Phantom X2 series smartphone last month globally and Phantom X2 in India, the company has finally announced its flagship — Phantom X2 Pro 5G smartphone in India. The handset, according to the company, is the world’s first smartphone with a retractable portrait lens. In addition to that, the smartphone is also the first to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.

Tecno has launched the Phantom X2 Pro 5G at Rs 49,999 and pre-bookings start today. The handset is set to go on sale starting January 24 via both online and offline retail stores including the Amazon India website.
As a part of the launch offer, Tecno is also offering an additional Rs 5,000 off on smartphone exchange, a free 12-months Amazon Prime membership and 6 months no cost EMI when buying the phone from Amazon. Retail offers include a free TECNO gift hamper for the first 600 customers and no-cost EMI.

Tecno Phantom X2 Pro is a 5G smartphone that features the world’s first retractable portrait lens for pure optical bokeh. It has a 50MP+50MP+13MP rear camera setup, a 7P 50MP ISOCELL 3.0 sensor with 1.2µm superlarge pixel, and a Wide P3 colour Gamut, 3D-Lut, and 7th Gen IMAGIQ 790 ISP.
The device is powered by the world’s first 4nm Dimensity 9000 chipset paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 256GB storage.
The PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G also boasts of sustainability with the world’s first renewable fibre back cover in the Mars Orange variant, which is made from plastic bottles found in the Indian Ocean and has a 38% lower carbon emission.
