Tecno Megabook S1 laptop with 12th Gen Intel processor, lightweight design launched – Times of India

Along with the two new Phantom series smartphones, Tecno has also launched its new Megabook series laptop at the same event. Tecno has unveiled the Tecno Megabook S1 laptop at its launch event in Dubai. The lightweight laptop from Tecno is powered by an Intel Core 12th gen processor and runs Windows 11 operating system.
The Tecno Megabook S1 comes with a starting price tag of $ 1449 (Rs 1,23,572). The company has not yet revealed any details about the India launch of the laptop.

Tecno Megabook S1 specifications
Tecno Megabook S1 weighs 1.35kgs and it comes with a magnesium alloy body. The laptop runs 12the generation Intel Core i7 processor and packs Microsoft’s latest Windows 11 operating system. The laptop also comes with a fingerprint sensor which also doubles up as the power button. The laptop also comes with a backlit keyboard and a large touchpad.
The Tecno Megabook S1 features a 16:10 widescreen with a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The 16-inch display offers 3.2K resolution and is surrounded by thin bezels on all sides. The display also offers 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth user experience. The screen on the Megabook S1 comes with up to 450 nits of peak brightness and promises to deliver great legibility under direct sunlight. The display on the laptop also comes with eye comfort certification.
The Tecno Megabook S1 packs 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of SSD space. The laptop also packs two USB ports, one TF card reader, an HDMI port, a USB Type C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The MegaBook S1 uses Ice Storm Cooling system and sports a dual fan design.
The all-new Tecno laptop also comes with an upgraded sound system. The company has included six speakers in the laptop for an immersive sound experience. The speakers on the laptop are tuned by DTS audio. The laptop also features an AI ENC-enabled dual microphone for a better video calling experience.
The Tecno MegaBook S1 houses a Smart AI front camera for video calls. The camera on the laptop offers features like face detection, background blur and more. The laptop houses a 70Wh large battery and claims to offer a day’s battery life on a single charge. The company is also offering a 45W fast charger with the laptop which is 50% smaller as compared to its rivals.
