The smartphone sports a 7.8-inch foldable screen which the company claims is virtually crease free. The smartphone sports the brand’s self-developed, aerospace-grade drop-shaped hinge that creates an ultra-flat main inner screen surface that is virtually crease-free. The hinge’s innovative reverse snap structure significantly improves the phone’s structural stability, while its aerospace-grade construction materials create strength with a light weight. Tecno Phantom V Fold is powered by MediaTek Dimensity chipset and runs Android 13 operating system.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold comes in two variants — 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. The company has priced the 256GB variant at Rs 89,999 and the 512GB version at Rs 99,999. The smartphone comes in black and white colour options. The company has just announced the India price of the smartphone. The foldable Tecno smartphone will launch in the country in Q2, 2023.

Foldable customizations have been made to the top 1,000 apps with the highest download frequency globally, of which 90% have been adapted to support split-screen and multi-window modes. In total, over 2000 apps have been adapted for HiOS13 Fold,” said the company.
The dual SIM foldable smartphone supports two nano SIMs and it comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone features a triple rear camera which comprises 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 13MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 50MP portrait telephoto camera. The smartphone offers dual selfie camera, the outer display houses a 32MP selfie shooter while the inner front camera is 16MP.
The foldable smartphone comes with stereo speakers and is backed by a 4,500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
