Tecno Phantom X2 series launch date officially revealed, Megabook S launching too

As said, the Tecno Phantom X2 series will succeed the Phantom X that debuted in the country back in April. The Phantom X came with a 90Hz curved AMOLED display, a 4,700mAh battery, and a MediaTek Helio G95 processor. The Dimensity 9000 will come as a big performance boost. Not much is known about the Phantom X2 series and the laptop but we should know more soon.

The Tecno Phantom X2 series may also launch in India since the predecessor debuted in the country. Unfortunately, no other details about the lineup have been revealed at the moment but we can expect more teasers to come our way leading up to the launch.

Tecno Phantom X specifications

To recall, the Tecno Phantom X sports a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 processor paired with Mali G57 GPU. The phone packs 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. The handset runs on Android 11-based HiOS 7.6 skin out of the box.

The Tecno Phantom X packs a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Moving to optics, the Tecno Phantom X has a triple camera setup at the back, including a 48MP primary camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view and a 13MP portrait camera. It has a dual-camera setup at the front, featuring a 48MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.
