Tecno Pop 7 Pro smartphone may launch in India this month, likely design leaked – Times of India

Last month Tecno launched its flagship smartphone — Tecno Phantom X2 Pro in India. Now it appears that the smartphone maker is all set to launch its affordable Tecno Pop 7 Pro smartphone in the country.
Industry sources have told Times of India Tech-Gadgets Now that Tecno is set to expand its Pop series of smartphones in the country. The company is said to launch Tecno Pop 7 Pro later this month in India. The smartphone is expected to be priced under Rs 15,000. Gadgets Now also got some images of the upcoming smartphone revealing its design.
As per the images, the Tecno Pop 7 Pro is said to sport a dual rear camera placed inside a square-shaped module. The smartphone is rumoured to sport a textured back panel with the Tecno branding. The images suggest that the power button and the volume rockers will be placed on the right side of the smartphone.
Tecno Pop 7 Pro likely specifications
Tecno Pop 7 Pro is said to feature a 6.56-inch HD+ display with 720×1612 pixel resolution. The display is expected to offer 20:9 aspect ratio and up to 480 nits of brightness.
The budget smartphone from Tecno is tipped to be powered by MediaTek Helio A22 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to offer 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.
Tecno Pop 7 Pro is tipped to run Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of HiOS 12. The dual SIM smartphone may come with an IPX2 rating which will make it splash-resistant.
Tecno Pop 7 Pro is said to come equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a dual rear camera. The dual rear camera may comprise 13MP main sensor with f/1.85 aperture and a secondary AI lens. There’s also a 5MP front-facing camera with dual micro slit flashlight.
The smartphone is likely to be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
