Tecno Pop 7 Pro to launch in India next month: What the smartphone may offer

Tecno launched its flagship smartphone Phantom X2 Pro in India last month. The smartphone maker is now all set to expand its affordable smartphone segment. Earlier this week we reported that Tecno may launch the Pop 7 Pro smartphone this month. Now, the smartphone maker has confirmed that it will launch the Tecno Pop 7 Pro smartphone in the country next week.
The smartphone maker took to Twitter to announce the launch of its upcoming smartphone.
The company tweeted, “Unlocking the new phase of possibilities with TECNO POP 7 Pro. Launching Next Week. Coming Soon!”

Tecno Pop 7 Pro is said to be priced under Rs 15,000 and it is said to sport a dual rear camera placed inside a square-shaped module. The smartphone is rumoured to sport a textured back panel with the Tecno branding. The images suggest that the power button and the volume rockers will be placed on the right side of the smartphone.

Tecno Pop 7 Pro is said to feature a 6.56-inch HD+ display with 720×1612 pixel resolution. The display is expected to offer 20:9 aspect ratio and up to 480 nits of brightness.
The budget smartphone from Tecno is tipped to be powered by MediaTek Helio A22 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to offer 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.
Tecno Pop 7 Pro is tipped to run Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of HiOS 12. The dual SIM smartphone may come with an IPX2 rating which will make it splash-resistant.
Tecno Pop 7 Pro is said to come equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a dual rear camera. The dual rear camera may comprise 13MP main sensor with f/1.85 aperture and a secondary AI lens. There’s also a 5MP front-facing camera with dual micro slit flashlight.
The smartphone is likely to be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
