Tecno Pova 5G is the company’s first 5G phone. It was announced in the Nigerian market recently. Now, details about the phone’s launch in the Indian market have surfaced online.
Tipster Mukul Sharma said that Tecno Pova 5G may come to India in January next year. He shared an alleged promotional poster of the phone, hinting at its launch in India.
Tecno Pova 5G comes in a single storage. It packs 8GB RAM and has an internal storage of 128GB. The smartphone is priced at $289 (approximately Rs 22,000).
Tecno Pova 5G: Specifications
Tecno Pova 5G is equipped with a 6.59-inch IPS LCD screen. The phone’s display features a FHD+ resolution of 1080×2460 pixels and offers a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The smartphone comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core processor paired with LPDDR5 RAM. The handset comes integrated with Mali G68 GPU and has 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone comes with virtual RAM feature and the RAM is expandable up to 3GB more.
Tecno Pova 5G runs on Android 11 operating system with the company’s proprietary HiOS on top. The device houses a 6000mAh battery and comes with 18watt fast charging support.
On the camera front, Tecno’s first 5G phone is equipped with a 12MP selfie camera with dual flash at the front. There is a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP camera and an AI lens.
