Tecno Spark 10C: what we know so far
According to the listing, the Tecno Spark 10C will feature an HD+ resolution display, with 720 x 1612 pixels screen resolution, 320ppi pixel density, and 20.1:9 aspect ratio. Other key details include a Unisoc T606 octa-core chip powering the smartphone, along with 4GB RAM onboard. The device will also feature the Mali G57 GPU designed by Arm on it, and run on Android 12 out of the box. Other specifications remain unclear at the moment.
As reports have flagged, the appearance of the smartphone on the Google Play Console suggests that it is weeks away from an official launch. The last ‘C’ branded smartphone, which typically signifies the most affordable variant of a lineup for Tecno, was the Tecno Spark 8C, which was launched by the company in January last year — just over one year ago.
The latter interestingly offered a similar set of specifications, with the same SoC and the same display resolution, but with 3GB RAM. The device is presently available on Flipkart at Rs 7,899. Given that the Spark 10C is rumoured to launch a year after it, things remain unclear as to how Tecno may have upgraded its budget smartphone. More details should surface closer to the actual launch date, which could be revealed by the brand in the weeks to come.
