Branch Ergonomic Chair

Photograph: Branch

Enter code SUMMER to see the discount at checkout. This is our favorite office chair for most people. The discount is small, but it doesn’t go on sale often. It offers plenty of adjustability despite its low price and is comfortable even if you spend many hours at a desk.

Enter code FIREWORKS20 to see the discount at checkout. This is an excellent office chair for anyone that loves to recline, and it’s also one of the most eco-friendly and sustainable chairs around. It doesn’t have many adjustable points but that’s by design as the chair is meant to adapt to your own body. We also like Humanscale’s new Path chair, which is better for small spaces and is also on sale for $983 ($246 off).

If you’re looking for a quiet air purifier, look no further than Blueair’s Pure Fan Auto. Even though it’s practically silent, there’s a Night Mode that keeps the fan at its lowest setting—and turns off the air quality indicator light—to keep it from disrupting your slumber. The air purifier doubles as a fan, which can cool you down on hot nights.

Coway Airmega 200M

Photograph: Conway

Coway’s Airmega 200M air purifier is our favorite option for small rooms. It’s effective for spaces up to 361 square feet and compact enough to fit in the corner of your bedroom or living room. It also comes with an air-quality monitor that automatically increases the fan speed when it detects particles and turns the purifier off when it doesn’t detect pollution.

Clip the coupon button on the page to see the discount at checkout. A good sound machine can be helpful for anyone who needs a little help falling asleep, and the Dreamegg D1 is one of our favorites. It comes with a variety of sounds, with the ability to play continuously for as little as 30 minutes or as long as 90 minutes. If you’re looking for something more portable, Dreamegg’s D11 sound machine is on sale for $22 ($8 off).

This can fit on a nightstand or in a cupholder in your car, making it great for travel. You get an air-quality sensor, a microfiber traveling bag, and a kickstand. It’s not a HEPA filter, but it has the ability to clean particles greater than 0.3 microns within three feet. The Wynd Plus dipped to $170 in March, but this is still a solid discount.

LectroFan Classic

Photograph: LectroFan

We love the Lectrofan Classic—it’s our favorite sound machine—and it’s used by several WIRED staffers and their children. It’s compact, comes with several modes and fan sounds (including white, pink, and brown noise), has a 60-second timer, and can be as loud as 85 decibels.

Clip the coupon button on the page to see the discount at checkout. This robot vacuum is already the best cheap robot vacuum in our buying guide, and now it’s even cheaper. It has long battery life (lasting over 100 minutes), navigates common areas skillfully, and comes with a companion app. It’s Wi-Fi enabled and compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

Supernatural’s Cleaning Starter Set rarely goes on sale, so we recommend jumping on this deal. It’s our top pick in our Best Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products guide. The set comes with sturdy glass spray bottles, nozzles that don’t clog, and glass concentrate vials with blends of essential oils you can use to clean windows, countertops, mirrors, and bathrooms. WIRED reviewer Louryn Strampe says the products smell amazing, and it’s only the set she continues to buy refills for.

KitchenAid Professional Stand Mixer

Photograph: Target

It’s no secret that KitchenAid’s stand mixers are top-notch, which is why they’re so expensive. This model dipped to $300 earlier this month, but this is still a great deal. With 10 speeds to choose from, it’s nice for recipes that require mixing and kneading of thick mixtures quickly. Give your arms a break.

If you enjoy grilling, ThermoWorks’ Thermapen is an essential tool to keep close by. It can read temperatures as quickly as one second and is very accurate, plus it’s durable. Check out our Best Grills guide if you need a new way to barbecue.

Meta Portal Go

Photograph: Facebook

Meta’s Portal Go (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is at the lowest price we’ve tracked (likely because the company is halting production). In terms of smart displays, it’s the only portable option we’ve tried. You can use it to video chat through Zoom and Facebook Messenger, and its built-in camera will automatically pan to keep you in the frame. It’s a great option for those who want the freedom to move around the room while on video calls. But, as WIRED senior associate editor Adrienne So notes, its biggest flaw is that it’s made by Facebook.

We recommend Lenovo’s second-generation Smart Clock for the nightstand. It’s one of the smaller Google Assistant-powered smart displays on the market, with a 4-inch screen that’s perfect for checking the weather, news, and time. This version comes with a wireless charging dock for your phone, complete with a USB port to charge additional devices simultaneously.

This is our favorite Chromebook. Remember, Chromebooks run off of Chrome OS, which largely consists of the Google Chrome browser. If you can do all of your work within a browser, this affordable laptop might be all you need. The Core M3 model should be powerful enough for most people. This one is a two-in-one so you can convert it to a tablet when you want to watch Netflix. It has a bright screen and great battery life.

Nest Mini

Photograph: Google

The Google Nest Mini (7/10, WIRED Reviews) is a fairly basic smart speaker. You can ask it anything you’d search on Google, from the weather to whether it’s OK for your dog to eat onions (nope). It’s affordable and capable—especially if you’re loyal to Google Assistant. Its small footprint is perfect for your nightstand or desk (or you can wall-mount it), and it comes in a variety of fun colors. Read our tips on how to make your Google or Amazon smart speaker more secure here.

WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu has been using this Nest Cam security camera for close to a year. The 1080p video is clear, even at night, and you get three hours of free video history (you can expand this with a Nest Aware subscription). It can detect people, pets, and vehicles, and you can wall-mount it or use the included stand. The indoor/outdoor battery version (in case you don’t want to fuss with a wire) is also on sale for $130 ($50 off). You can read more about it in our Best Outdoor Security Cameras guide.

The Nest Audio (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a much more significant upgrade than the Nest Mini. It sounds bold with plenty of bass and looks elegant in any room. You can pair two for awesome (and affordable) stereo performance. It’s powered by Google Assistant, which we generally find more useful than Amazon’s Alexa.

B&O Beosound A1

Photograph: Bang & Olufsen

The Beausound A1 from Bang & Olufsen has dipped to $175 in the past, but this is still a great deal for an already pricey speaker. The elegant design will look great on your nightstand, desk, or your wrist (thanks to the leather strap). The IP67 rating makes it safe to take outdoors too as it can survive a dip in the pool. It’s one of the best-sounding small speakers we’ve tested.

The Boom 3 holds the top spot in our Best Bluetooth Speakers buying guide. It offers balanced sound, 15 hours of battery life, 100 feet of Bluetooth range, and it’s waterproof. You’ll also get a two-year warranty. If you want a heftier speaker, the Megaboom 3 is also on sale for $156 ($44 off).

Use code HAPPYJULY50 to see the discount at checkout. We recommend Totallee for people who hate using cases with their phones but still want some type of protection. Since the cases are thin, they won’t protect your iPhone from steep drops, but they’ll help keep scratches and scuffs at bay. If you want more protection than that, Totallee does offer a Hybrid MagSafe case with a bumper.

Eero 6

Photograph: Amazon

Eero’s 6 Mesh System is dead simple to set up and use. This deal is on the version with three routers, but you can save and go for the version with a router and two extenders (having three routers nets you slightly better range and additional Ethernet ports. In our testing, we had stable connectivity and decent coverage. Since Eero is owned by Amazon, you’ll also get support for Alexa. It is one of the slower systems we’ve tested (it struggled with long distances in particular), but the system should work well for most people, especially if you just want to set it and forget it.

This rugged phone doesn’t look like most rugged phones (ie: it’s not ugly). It survived a few drops in our tests (7/10, WIRED Recommends), but more importantly, it performed really well, has a battery that lasts a full day, and includes features like NFC, wireless charging, and 5G support. It’ll get two more OS updates and will stop getting security updates in the fall of 2025. Did I mention it has a two-year warranty?

The OnePlus 10 Pro (7/10, WIRED Recommends) isn’t on sale, but you do get a pair of OnePlus Buds Pro for free when you purchase the smartphone, specifically the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version. WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu says this flagship is a good smartphone, but it’s not great. It packs a 120-Hz OLED screen, fast performance, wireless charging, and 5G connectivity. Its camera system doesn’t measure up to other flagships on the market like the Samsung Galaxy S22 or Pixel 6.

Self-Care and Beauty Deals

Be sure to read our Best Weighted Blankets, Best Massage Devices, and Best Hair Dryers guides for more recommendations.

Modernist x Gravity Weighted Robe

Photograph: Gravity

WIRED reviewer Medea Giordano says the 3-pound collar on Gravity’s robe feels similar to a relaxing shoulder massage. It’s also super soft and easy to maintain—the pack of weighted beans is removable, so you can just throw it in the washing machine. It’s a great alternative to fully weighted robes.

Clip the coupon button on the page to see the discount at checkout. We like this massage gun for its heating feature—it adds heat to the bottom of the massage gun for a soothing feel. You also get three attachments, a few intensity levels, and three temperature settings, all within a compact system. It’s not too powerful, which is nice if you often find massage guns too strong.

In honor of its five-year anniversary, Girlfriend Collective is offering 20 percent off all items on its site. You’ll see the discounts at checkout. We’re fans of the Compressive High-Rise Legging for $62 ($16 off) for working out and lounging around. They’re available in a range of bright colors and, despite their thin fabric, feel durable. We’ve also tried the Paloma Bra for $37 ($9 off) which is just as comfortable and supportive as the leggings.

LifePro Sonic Massage Gun

Photograph: LifePro

Clip the coupon button on the page to see the discount at checkout. The Sonic Massage Gun from LifePro is the most versatile massager we’ve tried (so far) thanks to its eight attachments—most of which are useful for specific knots and deep tissue. It also features an LED indicator for its five intensity levels and an indicator for battery levels.

Use Code 10OFF for 10 percent off when you buy two period pads, 20OFF for 20 percent off when you buy three pads, and 30OFF when you buy four or more pads for a discount at checkout. LastPad is available in multiple sizes and also comes with a carrying pouch to store fresh ones. WIRED reviewer Medea Giordano hasn’t added it to our Best Period Underwear and Pads guide just yet but says it stays in place fairly well and it’s more comfortable than wearing a thick pad.

Use code ZSJULY4 to see the discount at checkout. We recommend ZitSticka’s microdart patches for those who struggle with deep cystic acne. But they’re expensive compared to other options on the market. If you’ve been wanting to add these to your self-care routine, but don’t want to spend close to $30, you’ll want to take advantage of this Fourth of July sale.

Read our Best Mattresses guide for our advice and recommendations. The deal prices we’ve noted are for the queen-size version of the mattress.

Helix Midnight Luxe Mattress

Photograph: Helix

Use code 4JULWKND150 to see the discount at checkout, where you’ll get two free Dream Pillows with your purchase. The Midnight Luxe Hybrid Mattress from Helix holds the title of best overall in our buying guide. WIRED reviews director Jeffrey Van Camp says the medium-firm feel and plush cushion top feels relaxing regardless of whether you sleep on your side, back, or stomach.

Use code JULY25 to see the discount at checkout. Brooklyn’s Signature Hybrid Mattress is our favorite firm mattress. It’s ideal if you have specific types of back pain and need a stiffer option. If most firm mattresses aren’t firm enough for you, then we recommend looking at Brooklyn Bedding’s The Plank, which is also on sale for $1,049 ($350 off).

Use code FIREWORKS25 to see the discount at checkout. It’s not a high-end hybrid mattress, but WIRED reviews director Jeffrey Van Camp says it feels as luxurious and comfortable as one. He also says it’s a great choice if you’re pregnant or have a pregnant partner thanks to its softness and support for side-sleeping positions.

This two-sided foam mattress by Layla is both soft and firm—giving you the best of both worlds. One side offers a medium-firm feel while the other is medium-soft. That way, you can pick whichever one is most comfortable or flip between the two whenever you’d like. This one is all-foam, but Layla sells a hybrid version that’s currently $200 off.

My Green Mattress Kiwi Children’s Mattress

Photograph: My Green Mattress

Use code FREEDOM to see the discount at checkout. Kids outgrow things quickly, making them tricky (and expensive) to shop for sometimes. The Kiwi Mattress, however, is on the more affordable side of hybrid mattress options. It’s made out of organic cotton, latex, along with wool, and comes with pocketed springs. WIRED senior reviewer Scott Gilbertson purchased one for his kids, who say “it’s the most comfortable mattress they’ve ever slept on.” For an extra cost, there’s a two-sided version you can flip to overextend its life. Read our Best Organic Mattresses guide for more recommendations.

We like Tuft & Needle’s Mint mattress for pressure relief. The top three inches consist of “Adaptive” foam that sinks in more than a medium-firm mattress, but still offers plenty of support. The green ceramic foam layer helps with support as well, and it disperses heat if you tend to run hot throughout the night.

Use code FOJ400 to apply the discount at checkout, where you’ll get two free 2 Eco-Rest pillows with your purchase. We like the Birch Natural Mattress for side sleepers or for those who sleep on their stomach. It’s eco-friendly too—made of wool and natural latex. Since it’s a hybrid mattress, it packs individually wrapped coils for a bouncy and plush feel. If you tend to run on the warmer side at night, we recommend checking out more breathable picks in our buying guide.
