Amazfit has been launching affordable smartwatches and fitness wearables for some time now. Today, the company launched its latest product, the Amazfit Band 7 (via FoneArena). This fitness tracker is already on sale in some countries for just $49.99.
One of the big new features, literally, is the larger 1.47-inch AMOLED touch screen display, which is over 112% bigger than the previous Amazfit Band 5 (before you ask, the company did not launch an Amazfit Band 6). It also has a 232mAh battery that should last up to 18 days on a single charge with normal use, or even as long as 12 days with heavy use. The wearable has a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, which means it can work even when under 50 meters of water.
The Amazfit Band 7 includes an optical heart rate and blood oxygen sensor, which allows for continuous heart rate tracking and blood oxygen saturation monitoring. It will alert users if it detects issues with a person’s heart rate, low blood oxygen levels, and even alerts for stress. In addition, it offers sleep tracking tools.
The band supports tracking of 120 sports modes with the company’s own ExerSense and PeakBeats workout status algorithm. It also supports over 50 watch faces and, with an over-the-air update, voice commands via Amazon Alexa. You can even upload your own photos on the device.
The Amazfit Band 7 comes in black and beige colors, and there are four optional straps that come in green, blue, pink, and orange colors. You can buy it directly from the company at the link below
