The iPhone 15 Ultra will be the most expensive iPhone ever: Price and specifications leaked | Digit
Leaks of the iPhone 15 Ultra suggest that it will be the most expensive iPhone yet. The iPhone 15 is rumoured to be priced at $1299.
Apple’s new iPhone 14 launched this year in September and the new design and specs were generally lauded by fans and critics alike. From the Dynamic island offered in the iPhone 14 Pro and above to the much-awaited punch-hole display and improved camera, the iPhone 14 launch lived up to the hype around it. It has been a few months since the release of the iPhone 14 and the leaks of iPhone’s upcoming generation, the “iPhone 15 Ultra” are out in tech space. These leaks start happening every year after the release of Apple’s latest edition but honestly, we weren’t expecting the price leaks this early.
iPhone 15 Ultra rumoured specifications
According to the leaks by LeaksApplePro, the iPhone 15 Ultra’s price has been revealed to be 1299$, the most expensive iPhone ever! The naming system for upcoming iPhones may be changed and according to reports, the Apple Pro Max Model will be renamed and simply called iPhone Ultra. The idea behind this could be to show the Ultra version is packed with the best features and the latest chip and hence the price tag.
The iPhone 15 Ultra may be priced at more than $1299 (₹1,07,411) due to customs duty. A classic example would be the iPhone 14 Pro Max that launched in India with a price tag of around ₹1,40,000 whereas it was available in the US for only ₹90,000.
The Dynamic Island feature was a unique offering in higher variants of iPhone 14, however, this might not be the case with the upcoming iPhone 15. Reports indicate that it will be available in all the variants of iPhone 15 including the standard version. This basically means that we can expect all the upcoming variants to have a punch-hole display like the iPhone 14 Pro.

However, the standard version of iPhone 15 will lack the ProMotion feature and it will only be available for the Pro and Ultra version. For those who don’t know, the iPhone offers a ProMotion feature which enables automatic refresh rate switching between 10 Hz to 120 Hz depending on the content on the screen and thus saving battery life. Leaks also hinted that Apple’s A17 Bionic chip will only support the higher variants whereas the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could be packed with the Apple A15 Bionic Chip.
