The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD may have only released just over a week ago, but Best Buy is already offering a $9 discount on the $59.99 title. That means you can pick up this HD remaster of Link’s Wii instalment for just $50.99 right now.
While a small saving, seeing any early discounts on a Nintendo release of this scale is surprising, especially considering it’s already the second best selling game on Amazon this year. That’s an impressive leap to the top, which makes Best Buy’s discount all the more exciting.
Of course, as a port it was likely that we would be seeing Nintendo Switch game deals hitting this title sooner rather than later. However, considering the game’s skyrocketing success we would have expected a few more weeks at full price here. We only saw Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury taking a similar discount a month after release (though you can still find it for $10 off at Amazon, now $49.99).

Save $9 – It’s rare to see a Nintendo title taking a price cut so close to its release date, however The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is now available for just $50.99 at Best Buy. While you’re only saving $9 here, any discounts on such a large Nintendo title are welcome, though as we saw with Super Mario 3D World, the fact that this is a port may have something to do with that early saving.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury: $59.99 $49.99 at Amazon
Save $10 – It may be a little older, but this $10 discount on Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is still impressive considering the February release is still ruling Amazon’s charts. You’ll find all the original Super Mario 3D World content in here, as well as the Bowser’s Fury expansion.
