The LG Gram Ultraslim is LG’s thinnest notebook ever

TL;DR

  • LG has announced new models of its very thin and light Gram PC notebooks.
  • That includes the all-new LG Gram Ultraslim, which is LG’s thinnest notebook ever at just 10.99mm when closed.
  • Also new is the LG Gram Style notebooks, which will come in 14-inch and 16-inch versions.

The LG Gram notebook family is among the lightest and thinnest Windows laptops you can buy. At CES 2023, LG is trying to outdo itself with what it calls its thinnest notebook yet, the LG Gram Ultraslim.

When closed, the notebook is only 10.99mm thick and weighs just 2.2 pounds. However, the notebook still packs a 15.6-inch OLED display inside, along with Intel 13th-Gen Raptor Lake Core chips, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of onboard storage.

In addition, there’s another LG notebook brand coming in 2023. The LG Gram Style notebooks, in 14-inch and 16-inch models, will have a glass design. This will allow owners to see some differences in the colors available for the notebooks when viewed from different angles. Both will also get OLED screens, and both will also support Intel 13th-Gen Raptor Lake Core chips, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of onboard storage.

The normal LG Gram notebooks are also getting a refresh. They will be released in 14-, 15-, 16-, and 17-inch versions with IPS displays. In addition to Intel 13th-0Gen chips, up to 32B of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage, these notebooks will also have Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 laptop GPUs. All will also have variable refresh rate support for better and smoother frame rates while playing games.

Finally, the LG Gram 2-in-1 laptops, in 14-inch and 16-inch versions, allow the screen to be flipped over and used as a tablet and the +view for LG Gram portable monitor adds some display space for Gram owners, along with two USB-C ports.

LG says its new PC products will launch globally in February and in the US sometime later this year. Unfortunately, LG declined to offer any prices for its Gram products.
