These are the 10 ‘most-downloaded apps’ on iPhones and Android phones for the first 6 months of 2021

Sensor Tower has released its list of 10 ‘most-popular’ apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store for H1 2021, which is the first six months of the year. As per SensorTower, these are the apps that were most downloaded on Android smartphones and iPhones during the period. While some apps in the top 10 are common on both iPhone and Android devices, there are few which seem to be more popular on one platform than the other. Here’s over to the ‘most-downloaded apps’ on Google Play Store and Apple App Store for first-half of the year 2021.

The app ranks among the top-10 most-downloaded apps on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. While it is the most downloaded app among iOS users, it is the second highest downloaded app among Android users.

Social networking giant Facebook’s primary app is the most downloaded app on Google Play Store and at number 6 on Apple App Store.

The instant messaging app ranks at No. 4 on both Apple App Store and on Google Play Store.

Facebook’s dedicated messaging app — Messenger — ranks at number 7 on Apple App Store’s list and at number 6 in Google Play Store listing.
